THE FINALISTS

Friends, Comrades, Veterans and All,

Congratulations to all who participated in this year’s inaugural MV Awards. There were 152 submissions. I personally would like to thank our staff and all the judges for going through a tough process in selecting this year’s finalists. This went through several rounds of judging, scoring, discussions, verification and more.

I will keep this short. First, the finalists listed below are in no particular order and are not ranked on this list. One finalist from each category will be the overall winner. A few categories did not have enough entries for proper scoring, so we developed a Special Mention.

The finalists’ films will be screened on VetstreamTV starting May 12th.

If you were not selected as a finalist, your project will be mentioned in the program and will screen on VetstreamTV after May 24th. There will also be a “Best in Shorts” online contest announced in a few days.

There will be plenty of opportunities under this new endeavor—so please, don’t give up. Our mission is to lift up veterans, and those in media who support us, in ways unlike ever before.

Prayerfully Submitted,

Joe Ramirez
