The Nightly Debrief

The Nightly Debrief is a live talk-show-style series that brings together veterans, filmmakers, creators, and industry leaders for engaging conversations about storytelling, service, and the evolving role of veterans in entertainment and media.

Hosted by Nick Lannan, a Marine combat veteran and actor, the program offers thoughtful interviews, behind-the-scenes insights, and candid discussions with guests who are shaping the narrative around military service on screen and beyond. From filmmakers and producers to actors, journalists, and veteran advocates, each episode explores the powerful intersection of service, creativity, and culture.

Produced by the National Entertainment Awards Academy for Military & Veterans, The Nightly Debrief serves as a platform to elevate veteran voices, foster collaboration within the entertainment industry, and inspire new opportunities for veterans in film, television, podcasts, and digital media.

Episodes are recorded live and later streamed on VetStreamTV, extending the conversation to a national audience and supporting the movement to recognize and celebrate veterans in entertainment.
